Investigators arrest 2 men for alleged $11K ATM skimming theft

Investigators have arrested two men for allegedly stealing $11,000 with ATM skimming throughout the Florida Panhandle. They claim the men used at least 44 counterfeit cards to withdraw the funds from Okaloosa and Santa Rosa counties in Florida, according to a report by AL.com.

By using video surveillance and other sources, law enforcement arrested the two, Zmfir Nitu and Irinel-Vasile, and have charged them with third-degree larceny and third-degree fraud/swindle.

The bond is $50,000 for each charge.
