JACKSON, Miss. -- Financial Technologies, Inc. (FTI) has teamed with Florida-based Inter Active Touch Marketing (IATM) to promote on-screen advertising and couponing on selected ATMs in FTI's network of 1,500 terminals in 47 states and several Canadian provinces.
FTI's selection of IATM to help attract advertisers to its ATM network is part of an overall company strategy to increase revenue streams by offering services other than cash withdrawals, including prepaid phone cards, stamps, coupons and gift certificates.
"We've been actively searching for someone to provide a solid advertising opportunity for our customers," said FTI President Tommy Glenn. "IATM offers what we feel is the best system for creating a real, profitable advertising venue for our business and for our customers' business."
IATM has established relationships with financial institutions, ATM manufacturers and non-financial owners of ATMs to provide access to several thousand ATMs nationwide. IATM approaches advertisers directly to present a variety of ATM advertising opportunities and distribution channels.
FTI and IATM were brought together through mutual business partner Tidel Engineering, the Carrollton, Texas-based ATM manufacturer.
