ING Germany, the third largest bank in Germany, has partnered with Paysafe's cash arm viafintech to enable users to make cash deposits or withdrawals from participating retailers. Customers can use the ING Cash feature on ING's Banking to Go app to select how much cash they want to withdraw or deposit, and form there they receive a barcode they can use at one of more than 12,500 retailers in Germany, according to a press release.
The bank believes the service will help meet customer needs in areas that do not have access to ATMs, particularly in rural areas.
"We are delighted to be partnering with ING to enable easier and faster banking and access to cash for its customers through our leading cash solution and extensive network of distributors across Germany," Sebastian Seifert, SVP, sales and business development, Paysafe, said in the release.
Withdraws are free but deposits have a 1.5% fee.
