INETCO Systems Limited, a provider of real-time payment fraud prevention, announced that the ALTO Network, a National Payment Gateway for Indonesia, has chosen its Insight software for its security monitoring. This partnership will also support the National Non-Cash Movement and Bank Indonesia's National Payment System project, according to a press release.

ALTO, Indonesia's leading provider of end-to-end payment switching and digital banking solutions is licensed by Bank Indonesia to oversee the National Payment Gateway, Indonesia's national payment system. Providing services to more than 40 issuing and acquiring member banks, ALTO connects to more than 100,000 automated teller machines and more than 1,000,000 electronic data capture machines across Indonesia.

INETCO Insight identifies and analyzes transaction-level payment fraud attacks in seconds before major financial loss or reputational harm occurs. Every domestic ATM, debit and interbank fund transfer transaction is correlated and profiled in real-time, giving ALTO complete visibility across more than 120 links that include every issuing and acquiring member bank to the ALTO Retail Payment Solution switch and from the ALTO RPS switch to the host authorization points

"Payment fraud is greatly under regulated in Indonesia," said Patricco Baron, CTO at ALTO Network said in the release. "Together, with INETCO, we can actively work to prevent card present and card-not-present fraud attacks. We want to make customers feel safe when it comes to digital payment migration and help our member banks protect themselves against financial loss and a tarnished reputation – neither of which can be easily recovered."
