Industry Agreement Brings a Complete Service to the Off-Premise ATM Industry

- Transaction Network Services and Triton agree to bring an all-in-one package to independent ATM operators -

Sheffield, November 14, 2002 - A strategic agreement between Triton and Transaction Network Services (TNS) heralds change within the UK off-premise Automated Teller Machine (ATM) sector.

Independent ATM Deployers (IADs) can now arrange an end-to-end ATM management solution through just one point of contact, with a newly established division of Triton called Calypso Europe.

The turnkey package incorporates processing, monitoring, authorisation, back-office operations and settlement for many terminal types, including traditional leased-line ATMs and dial-up off-premise ATMs.

Triton is calling upon TNS' expertise in data communications and processing to launch the complete service to market, enabling the ATM manufacturer to expand its offering beyond purely hardware sales.

Jeff Barrow, Director of European Business Development, Triton, said: "There are currently 11,000 remote location ATMs at convenience sites such as grocery stores and railway stations. This is nearly one third of the total number of ATMs - a major market to target.

"TNS, a certified LINK, VISA and MasterCard bureau, owns and operates communications and processing services, making them Calypso's partner-of-choice to offer end-to-end EFT service."

Calypso and TNS have selected the Postilion software by Mosaic, the global transaction processing software provider, for their EFT platform.
