IndusInd Bank launches RuPay credit card on UPI

IndusInd Bank launched its RuPay Credit Card on UPI through a partnership with the National Payments Corp. of India. Customers can use UPI payments by linking their credit cards with apps, according to a press release.

Merchants can receive payments on the RuPay network with POS devices and websites, and customers can earn rewards on their UPI transactions.

"Given UPI's universal prevalence in India, linking UPI to credit card is a further amalgamation of convenience and features/benefits, all enhancing customer convenience and payment experience," Soumitra Sen, head of consumer banking and marketing, IndusInd Bank, said in the release.
