India's largest bank signs deal with Western Union

DENVER - Western Union announced in a news release that its authorized agent, Kuoni Travels, has entered into an agreement with the State Bank of India Ltd. to provide inbound money transfer services.

SBI, with more than 9,000 branches in India and a presence in more than 32 countries, is the largest bank in India and one of the top 100 banks in the world. Through the agreement with SBI, Western Union Money Transfer services will be available at more than 200 SBI branches, with more expected during 2006.
