India deploys mobile ATM

With India locking down the country due to the coronavirus, HDFC Bank began utilizing a mobile automated teller machines to help customers with their banking needs. The mobile ATM has been successfully tested in Mumbai, Noida, Allahabad and Coimbatore according to an article inbusinesstraveller.com. The company has plans to extend the service to the rest of the country soon.  

This mobile ATM is expected to operate between 1000 to 1700 hours daily and make up to three to five stops.
