ICICI Bank Canada intros mobile banking remittance app

ICICI Bank Canada, a subsidiary of ICICI Bank Ltd., has launched the app Money2India, which allows customers of any Canadian bank to send money to any bank in India without an account with ICICI Bank Canada. Customers can send money directly through the app via Visa or Mastercard, according to a press release.
Customers can send up to $22,446 in a single transaction and can set up recurring transfers. The app features two factor authentication and a one-time-password.
"We, at ICICI Bank, believe in leveraging the latest technology to bring in new and improved digital banking solutions to users of our products and services. We understand the importance of seamless and reliable money transfers," Sriram Iyer, head of international banking group, ICICI Bank, said in the release. "The introduction of the 'Money2India (Canada)' app reflects our commitment to providing users with a convenient and enriched experience. We believe that this service will empower customers to effortlessly send money to India instantly in a safe and secure manner."
