IBM acquires FileNet Corp.

ARMONK, N.Y. - IBM has completed its acquisition of Costa Mesa, Calif.-based FileNet Corp., a business process and content-management-solutions provider.

According to a news release, FileNet's operations will be integrated into IBM's Information Management Software business.

The deal marks IBM's 20th strategic acquisition in support of its cross-company information-on-demand effort.
