SAN JOSE, Calif. - I-S-Cubed Inc. (iS3),a provider of cryptographic key management solutions for network-connected devices such as ATMs, has appointed Ramesh Sekar as the company's chief financial officer.
According to a news release, Sekar has more than 15 years of financial and operations management experience in the information technology industry. At I-S-Cubed he will oversee finance, investor relations, IT, legal and human resource functions.
He joins the company from Teros Inc, where he was senior vice president and CFO. Preceding Teros, Sekar was the CFO and vice president of finance and administration at Perfect Commerce, a provider of supplier relationship management software and services, where he led the acquisition and integration of the assets of Purchase Pro, and successfully merged Perfect Commerce with eScout.
During his tenure at Portal Software as senior director of sales operations, the company grew tenfold in revenue and completed a successful IPO.
I-S-Cubed's flagship product, SecureOMS, is a server-based security system that provides centralized security management for cryptographic keys, PINs and devices. Comprised of proprietary software running on fault-tolerant hardware, SecureOMS automates and streamlines secure key management processes to reduce the cost of operations, enhance organizational security and enable regulatory compliance. I-S-Cubed also offers professional services to support customers with Triple DES migration, security assessments, system architecture design and auditing/compliance courses.
