The Huntington National Bank opened a branch in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This full service branch offers personal bankers, ATMs and tellers, according to a press release.
This is part of the bank's overall plan to open approximately 55 branches in the Carolinas. With this branch, the bank now has six branches in five markets.
"This flagship branch represents a significant investment in Winston-Salem and underscores our commitment to serving this community for years to come," Trent Holland, regional president for North Carolina and South Carolina, Huntington, said in the release. "We are proud to continue expanding in the Carolinas and bringing Huntington's people-first, customer-centered approach to more communities across the region."
Early in February 2026, Huntington acquired Cadence Bank, with approximately 400 branches in the South.
