HSBC Bank Oman links to OmanNet ATM switch

August 6, 2012

Following its merger with former Oman International Bank, HSBC Bank Oman SAOG has linked to the OmanNet Switch to provide expanded access to ATMs across the country.

Customers now have free access to the merged banks' 100 ATMs and can also use other ATMs on the switch for an off-us charge, according to an article at Oman Observer. They'll have access to cash withdrawal as well as other standard functions at any OmanNet ATM.

A significantly larger national ATM footprint and diversifying banking service channels are some of the many advantages customers can enjoy as the integration process continues to realize the full benefits of the merger, Alan Jarman, head of retail banking and wealth management at HSBC Bank Oman told the Observer.

"The switch to the larger ATM network enhances the ways we can help customers and offers them faster and better access to their money 24 hours a day, seven days a week," Jarman said.
