In a standoff Thursday that lasted hours, a hostage situation at a Wells Fargo bank located at 200-33rd Ave. S in St. Cloud, Minnesota ended with a suspect in arrest and five bank employees who were held hostage released without harm, according to a report in USA Today.

St. Cloud police chief, Blair Anderson described the suspect as "…a disgruntled customer upset about a prior transaction."

The suspect had entered the bank just before 2 p.m. and police received a call from the bank of a possible robbery in progress. A few minutes later the police received a panic alarm from the bank.
