Harris County, Texas deputies catch ATM thief

Constable deputies in Harris County, Texas were able to catch a thief in the middle of an attempted ATM theft at a Wells Fargo branch. Two suspects had hooked an ATM to a pickup truck, ripped open the machine and stolen cash, according to a report by Click 2 Houston.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they were able to locate the truck in under one minute arrested one suspect, with another fleeing on foot. They recovered $58,772 in cash along with four cash drawers from the truck.

The second suspect is still at large.
