Gulf Coast Bank, based in Los Angeles, partnered with Spiral, a banking platform to improve its customers financial well-being and enable charitable donations through the digital Giving Center. In particular, Spiral will provide its Everyday Impact tool, which customers can use to round up purchases for saving or supporting charitable causes, according to a press release.
With the Giving Center, customers can give directly to causes through their accounts such as providing Wi-Fi for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana.
"We're proud to build upon our legacy of philanthropic donations. By offering simple ways for our customers to grow their savings and make a positive difference, we're continuing our mission of giving back to the communities we serve," Jason Patout, SVP at Gulf Coast Bank, said in the release. "Adding Spiral allows our customers to improve their finances and make an impact without having to think about it."
"Gulf Coast Bank has an impressive history of driving community philanthropy with a strong commitment to its customers' financial well-being," Shawn Melamed, CEO and co-founder of Spiral, said in the release. "We're proud to empower more banks to personalize their digital banking experience, enhance customer lives, and accelerate growth while helping their communities."
