Greenland signs on for Mosaic's Postilion

January 15, 2002

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. -- Mosaic Software says that Mosaic's Postilion product has been selected to provide transaction switching and routing software for the MaxCash Automated Banking Machine manufactured by La Costa, Calif.-based Greenland Corp.

The terminals blend traditional ATM functionality with both advanced financial transaction services and e-commerce applications. In addition to traditional ATM transactions, customers at Greenland terminals will be able to cash checks, purchase money orders, wire transfers and buy other items and services including various prepaid products, using cash, check, debit and/or credit cards.

According to a Mosaic release, its Postilion software platform will handle all aspects of the transaction switching and routing management as well as provide an open architecture that easily adapts to new products, third-party manufacturer kiosk platforms, other terminals and mobile devices.

T. A. "Kip" Hyde, Jr., Greenland's president and CEO, said, "This is an important milestone for Greenland and provides a world-class, scalable systems foundation for our new strategy to provide services to and through multiple hardware platforms."
