Got a Garmin? Get cardless ATM cash via Visa

Technology provider Garmin International Inc. and NXT-ID Inc. subsidiary Fit Pay, have announced that Garmin Pay contactless payment is now available for eligible Visa credit, debit and prepaid accounts at participating banks.

The feature in Garmin's vivoactive 3 smartwatch allows consumers to conduct contactless payments at NFC-enabled ATMs and point-of-sale terminals, according to a press release.

The vivoactive 3 with Garmin Pay is integrated with the Visa Ready for Tokenization Program through token service provider FitPay Inc. The Visa program provides access to tools and services that can speed up and simplify the process of embedding secure payments into devices.

Garmin Pay is now available to Visa cardholders from participating banks that include Bank of America, Capital One, and U.S. Bank in the United States, and BonusCard, Cornerbank, ANZ and NAB internationally.
