Global Axcess Corp Reports Record First Quarter 2012 Revenue

Global Axcess Corp., an independent provider of self-service kiosk solutions, joins the list of ATM industry players who have marked record revenue for the first quarter of 2012.

The company today announced financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2012. ATM business line highlights for the quarter include:

• Surcharge transactions up 12.2 percent compared to fourth quarter of 2011; up 11.5 percent compared to the first quarter of 2011.
• First quarter 2012 ATM services revenue up 12.2 percent over Q4 of 2011; up 21.6 percent over Q1 of 2011.
• First quarter 2012 ATM services gross profit $2.4 million compared to $2.6 million in Q4 of 2011 and $2.6 million for Q1 of 2011.

"Our pipeline of ATM opportunities has never been more robust," said Lock Ireland, vice chairman of the board of directors and interim CEO at Global Axcess. "This includes acquisition opportunities as well as organic opportunities ... We signed an agreement to be the exclusive provider of ATM services to an 8,000 C-store buying group and are seeing escalating interest from the buying group's clients."
