Giesecke & Devrient, a Munich, Germany, technology company, is hosting its third Mobile Security Forum to promote an exchange of ideas among security-technology companies.
Ten companies will participate in the day-long meeting. The firms will present their IT security solutions to investors and Giescke &Devrient managers. The forum also will enable participants to sound out possible partnerships.
"Whether on a cell phone or notebook, Internet and IT applications are becoming more and more mobile. At the same time, more and more is expected of the security solutions for these mobile applications," Kai Grassie, head of Giesecke & Devrient's new business division, said in a statement. "Our mobile security forum is an informal and effective opportunity for companies to present their latest developments, seek out strategies and forge partnerships with others."
