Gasper Corporation introduces entry-level ATM monitoring system

DAYTON, Ohio -- In a bid to win the business of ISOs and small financial institutions, Gasper Corporation, a provider of ATM management software, has introduced Gasper ATM Monitor, an entry-level ATM monitoring solution that enables deployers of less complex networks to monitor the network and manage incident resolution.

Gasper ATM Monitor provides similar benefits as the company's flagship Gasper Manager product, which is used by some of the world's largest banks. According to David Gasper, president of Gasper Corporation, the system will help owners of less complex networks increase network availability, improve management of vendors and increase the efficiency of help desk personnel.

"Gasper ATM Monitor contains many of the base features that have made Gasper Manager famous, but is priced and designed for the less complex and less dynamic ATM networks," Gasper said. "As your network expands and becomes more complex, Gasper ATM Monitor can be easily upgraded to Gasper Manager."

Gasper ATM Monitor automatically opens trouble tickets as events occur, capturing network problems. Service vendors are then dispatched through a variety of notification schemes. Tickets are updated with service information and closed when the problem is resolved.

Gasper ATM Monitor documents event start time, service personnel arrival and problem resolution, providing an up-to-date record of availability and service personnel responsiveness.

An optional chronic event detection feature tracks and responds to repetitive, chronic problems, resolving them proactively. Chronic event detection can help identify such difficult-to-diagnose problems as encryption key problems, cash dispenser failures or card readers that need cleaning or replacement.

Management reports are available at any time. Reports document the complete history of each problem and resolution, frequency of problems per model type and time period, ATM availability and reasons for downtime, as well as service personnel responsiveness.
