ROCKLIN, Calif. - Futurex, Inc., a provider of payment security products for the financial and retail industries, says its Excrypt product line is compatible with ACI Worldwide's popular BASE24 payments software.
ACI confirmed that its flagship software supports Futurex's Excrypt family of host security modules (HSMs), including the RMC7000 (Rack Mounted Chassis) and KMS7000 (Key Management System).
"Futurex's recent compatibility testing has demonstrated their long term commitment to the market and the BASE24 community. The Excrypt product line will broaden our customer's alternatives regarding their migration to Triple DES," said Jim Shaffer, ACI's product manager of Security.
According to a news release, the Excrypt HSMs have a secured upgrade path to industry standards such as Triple DES encryption, and Derived Unique Key Per Transaction (DUKPT) via ACI's Transaction Security Services module.
"Our customers are focused on their future and taking the necessary steps to upgrade their systems to meet the new Triple DES standards. The Futurex products provide that technology without putting a huge dent in their IT budget. We are excited to support ACI's BASE24 and TSS products and be able to offer our technology to their worldwide client base," said Brett Smith, Futurex president and chief executive, in the release.
