John Hardy is one of the UK's leading electronic banking experts. He became the current Chief Executive of LINK Interchange Network Ltd in 1989, following six years as Head of Business and then Head of Automated Banking at Girobank where he was responsible for both the development and operation of all consumer electronic services, including Electronic Funds Transfer at Point of Sale (EFTPoS) systems and home banking.
Under John's direction, LINK has become the UK's national cash machine network with 52 banks, building societies and Independent ATM deployers as members. During 2002 the LINK network processed 1.84 billion transactions via 42,500 ATMs.
John is a regular speaker at conferences in the UK and overseas on electronic banking.

Tom is the founding publisher of ATMmarketplace.com, co-founder of the ATM Industry Association, and the association's current president. He is the founder of the Future Trends Executive Round Table on ATMmarketplace. He left a career in radio advertising sales to join WaterMark Group in 1996, leading the ATM supply division of the firm, before shifting his focus to the online world. In 2000 Tom co-founded NetWorld Alliance and serves as the company's president.

Tony recently managed The 2002 ATM Deployer Study (sponsored by the four largest EFT networks), a comprehensive review of the state of the ATM industry based on a survey of banks, credit unions and ISOs. Tony's other primary research includes debit issuers, consumers' banking channel preferences, bank risk management functions, and merchants' ATM programs.
Additionally, Tony has served as an expert witness in several ATM-related cases.
Tony has been quoted in publications such as the American Banker, ATM & Debit News and Credit Union Executive Journal. He is a frequent speaker on retail financial services issues and has spoken at BAI's Retail Delivery conference and Thomson's ATM & Debit Forum, as well as the annual member conferences of PULSE, NYCE and CO-OP Network.
Tony graduated with First Class Honors from Oxford University, where he also received his M.A. degree.

Bo H. Holmgreen, the CEO of Transoft International, has led his currency management software company to a spot on Deloitte & Touche's "Fast 50" for North Carolina and a client roster filled with financial institutions such as Wachovia Corp., Fifth Third Bank and the UK's Abbey National.
Holmgreen, a Denmark native, obtained degrees in electrical engineering and business administration from the Technical University of Denmark. Holmgreen worked for Alcatel CR Systems, a division of the French company devoted to developing EFT systems. He ended up there in the merger mania that characterized the early 1980s after his original employer, a Danish computer manufacturer called Chr. Rovsing A/S, was taken over by ITT Inc. and then by Alcatel. His biggest coup was helping create Dancard, the first nationwide EFT/POS system, which is still in use in Denmark today.

Dr. Katkov's work has been widely referenced in the press, including The Wall Street Journal, Time, Investor's Business Daily, Dow Jones Newswires, The American Banker, Securities Industry News, Wall Street & Technology, Bank Technology News, and The Banker.
Before joining Celent, Dr. Katkov was responsible for corporate communications for Softbank Inc., a leading Internet holding company. Softbank's holdings in financial services included E*Trade, Nasdaq Europe, Morningstar Japan, E-Loan, and InsWeb Japan. In this capacity, he worked with these and other companies to define aspects of the firm's business and marketing strategies.
Previously, Dr. Katkov was in the equity research department of Salomon Brothers Asia Limited. At Salomon Brothers he worked with the electronics and semiconductor industries, as well as industrial equipment. Dr. Katkov has lived for five years in Asia, where he engaged in academic research at the University of Tokyo and the National Central Library of Taiwan. He has also held a number of positions in the media and publishing industries in Japan and Taiwan.
Dr. Katkov holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Harvard University. He is fluent in Japanese and Chinese.

Brian J. Kett was appointed Triton's president effective March 1, 2003. Brian joined Triton in December 1997 as Director -- Canadian Sales and led the successful launch of Triton ATM products and the Calypso services businesses into the Canadian marketplace. Subsequent to that venture, Brian headed up the International and Business Development efforts responsible for generating new business opportunities throughout Triton's domestic and international markets. In 2000, shortly after the acquisition of Triton by Dover, Brian was appointed to the role of Executive Vice President in charge of worldwide sales, marketing, business and engineering development activities. Immediately prior to joining Triton, Brian spent a year serving as chief financial officer for the Superstar Group, a major retailer of sports apparel and footwear in Canada. Prior to that, Brian was vice president for Shell Canada, holding several senior managerial roles throughout his 19-year career with Shell in areas such as downstream marketing, upstream exploration, coal operations, tar sands and forest products. Brian earned his bachelor's degree in Commerce and his master's degree in Public Administration from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.

Uwe Krause began his professional career in 1974 by training as an industrial business administrator at Nixdorf Computer AG. He then initially worked in the field of controlling.
As his career progressed, he became increasingly involved in the product area. From 1983, Uwe Krause assumed the role of product specialist for office communications. In 1985, he was appointed managing product specialist for product planning of UNIX- and DOS-based professional workstations (PWS).
From this point onward, Mr. Krause worked in several leading functions, including specialist area manager for PWS and PC products and head of the Technical Product Marketing department for Personal Computers at Nixdorf Computer AG and then later at its successor company Siemens Nixdorf.
In October 1990, Uwe Krause took over as head of a department, where he was responsible for self-service and banking systems as well as migration strategies. At the same time, he headed a planning group for mobile PCs and PC integration.
Since 1993, Uwe Krause has been responsible for product planning / product management and for marketing in the Banking Division including sales support. After the formation of Wincor Nixdorf International GmbH in 1999, Mr. Krause continues to act as head of marketing for the Banking Division at national and international level.
Mike Lee International Director ATM Industry Association
Mike Lee was made international director of the ATM Industry Association after successfully setting up ATMIA Europe from September 2000. Since then he has established ATMIA Africa and ATMIA Australasia. ATMIA now has about 400 members in 19 countries. In June 2003, he initiated the formation of the Global ATM Security Alliance.
Mike, who is married, with two daughters, joined ATMIA following posts as Research & Development Manager, first for South Africa's largest insurance company, Old Mutual, and then for a London-based conference production and publishing company.
