PITTSBURGH -- Pennsylvania's Freedom ATM Alliance announced that three new members will become operational in April, bringing the membership up to 30 banks. New members are Farmers National Bank and Merchants National Bank, both headquartered in Kittanning, and Second National Bank of Fayette County.
A customer of any of the 30 member banks can use ATMs owned by the other 29 without a surcharge, the extra fee imposed on transactions by ATM owners.
With the new members, the Alliance now consists of 222 ATMs, more than half of them in the Pittsburgh metro area.
