Fraud hurts consumer confidence in ATMs, survey in Nigeria finds

Nigeria's NEXT reports that some of the country's bank customers say in a survey they are quickly losing confidence in ATMs, as ATM-related fraud such as skimming increases. The survey was conducted by the News Agency of Nigeria. A cross-section of consumers said that, though the ATM was introduced to make things easier, the system has proved counterproductive, since most bank branches continue to have long queues.
