Fiserv Inc, a provider of financial services technology solutions, has struck an agreement with IT provider Cisco to deliver integrated communications capabilities essential for branch transformation, including virtual interaction with remote experts and secure wireless access that supports a universal banker model.
Fiserv will offer these hosted communications and infrastructure solutions through managed services suite, Sentry Performance Solutions. The portfolio includes network services; hosting services; network security services; hardware and software lifecycle management; and unified communications services.
Fiserv clients will have access to branch and workforce experience solutions from Cisco. The workforce experience solution offers a variety of communication vehicles, including video-based remote customer service that facilitates virtual face-to-face meetings between a staff member and customers.
Cisco branch solutions provides secure in-branch Wi-Fi, empowering branch staff to move from behind the teller counter or away from their desks to interact with customers or members in a universal banker model.
"Meeting consumers' increased expectations and driving a more efficient workforce are critical in the banking and credit union industries," said Sandy Hogan, VP of the business transformation group at Cisco. "We are delighted to partner with Fiserv to drive those objectives by enabling key digital capabilities through our cloud-managed infrastructure and collaboration platform."
