Fiserv, a provider of financial service- and business-driven technology solutions for credit unions, has announced two business agreements.
CFE Federal Credit Union of Lake Mary, Fla., has selected the Acumen account processing solution from Fiserv with in-house delivery, as well as Fiserv solutions, WireXchange for wire funds processing, Prologue Financial Accounting Services, Nautilus for document imaging and Next Multi-Channel Marketing to manage targeted product offers and service messages.
Acumen, a new offering from Fiserv, enables account processing for credit unions through an open-architecture platform designed to add functionality, scalability and ease of use. The system is available via service bureau, in-house delivery or resource management.
"Technology in the financial services industry is changing rapidly. We sought a solution that would be robust enough to meet our needs today, yet flexible enough to adapt to the future needs and service demands of our members," said Joseph Melbourne, president and CEO of CFE FCU. "Acumen will give us the ability to scale and achieve our membership growth goals and enhance our members' experiences."
Cornhusker Bank, a community bank in Lincoln, Neb., selected Fiserv's Common Origination Platform, an enterprise lending solution designed to originate consumer, business and real estate-backed loans. It offers a single-platform solution that gives a lender a view of its borrowers across all lending channels and products, with data in one place regardless of the point of origination or loan type. The solution also offers workflow and integration with third-party services.
"[W]e knew we needed a system that could integrate seamlessly with our core processing platform and help us reduce the time it took to originate and board new loans," said Crystal Wichita, VP of IT at Cornhusker Bank. "Not only does Common Origination Platform integrate with our account processing platform, Premier from Fiserv, it also gives us the ability to maintain a single origination system for all of our lending verticals."
