FIS appoints president, CEO

FIS, a technology solutions company for financial institutions, has appointed Stephanie L. Ferris to serve as president and CEO starting Jan. 1. She will take over for Gary A Norcross, who will assume the role of executive chairman of the board, according to a press release.

Previously, Ferris served as president of FIS where she managed the company's global business strategy.
