First National Bank, a subsidiary of F.N.B. Corp., has partnered with Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania to deliver banking services and financial education to the university. The partnership includes a Digital Center with a eStore kiosk for students to shop for banking services or receive financial education, and two ITMs for two-way video chat seven days a week and for 13 hours on weekdays, according to a press release.
In addition, students can use online or mobile eStore to schedule appointments with FNB bankers. The bank has also launched its FNB-U Student Checking at SRU with SRU-branded Visa debit cards.
"We strive to provide a comprehensive learning experience so that our students are prepared to succeed professionally and personally, and finances are key to that success," Christopher Cole, director of auxiliary operations and student services, SRU, said in the release. "Our partnership with FNB enables us to deliver digital banking technology, educational resources and expert consultation directly on campus, so students and employees can get the support they need at a time and place that works for them."
