JACKSON, Miss. -- Financial Technologies, an independent deployer with more than 2,200 ATMs in the U.S. and Canada, has reached an agreement with Greenwood, Miss.-based Valley Bank that will give Valley Bank customers surcharge-free access to all First South and First Nations ATMs. Stewart M. Brumfield, chairman of the board and CEO of Valley Bank, said that this agreement is one of the first to combine the ATM networks of an ISO and a financial institution. "We are delighted to be able to provide this service at no charge to our customers," Brumfield said. Financial Technologies provides processing, hardware, service and ATM management for 2,200 retail businesses and financial institutions in the U.S. and Canada.
