Fifth Third signs deal on fraud detection software

Business First of Louisville (Ky.): Fifth Third Bancorp's electronic payment processing division has purchased a five-year license on fraud-detection software from international  company Retail Decisions Plc. Retail Decisions is an international fraud-prevention company with operations in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia and South Africa, according to a news release. Fifth Third Bank Processing Solutions will install Retail Decisions PRISM technology to detect and prevent ATM, credit and debit card fraud associated with its own issued cards.
