Fifth Third plans for growth

The Detroit News:Fifth Third Bank announced plans to add at least 10 more branches, including two in Detroit, over the next two years. The Cincinnati-based bank has 89 branches in Michigan. The bank's new president and chief executive Greg Kosch, who took the reigns in January, is heading the effort.

Fifth Third is the seventh-largest bank in eastern Michigan, with 4.5 percent of all deposits.
