Fifth Third Bank to transform Cincinnati’s Fountain Square for Blink

Fifth Third Bank plans to transform Cincinnati, Ohio's Fountain Square into an art display installation for the BLINK outdoor art event running from Oct. 17 to 20. The bank will work with B!G Art and other local artists to craft the experience, according to a press release.

The installation will include a 27-foot archway with 1.2 million LED pixels for 3,000 square feet of video and 60 7-foot by 3-foot LED bar gateways. Visitors can also see more than a dozen interactive doors with LED canvases displaying artwork and the Tunnel, a net with green and blue yarn between the trees.

"OPEN on Fountain Square will celebrate the intersection of innovation and artistry that makes Cincinnati so special. We are proud to bring this unique and innovative installation to the heart of downtown, where so many of our employees live, work and play," Tim Elsbrock, president of Fifth Third's Greater Cincinnati region, said in the release.

This installation is open for the public during the entirety of BLINK.
