Fifth Third Bank refreshes mobile app

Fifth Third Bank has launched a cloud-based mobile banking app. It works with Fifth Third Momentum Banking, which offers tools such as early direct deposit through Early Pay and MyAdvance to allow customers to borrow from future paychecks if enrolled in direct deposit, according to a press release.

App features include:

• Customization of bottom navigation based on customer's most used features.
• Validation screens for transactions.
• Transaction details on merchants including contact information.

"This app is built on modern, cloud-based architecture. This enables Fifth Third to bring new features and functionalities to customers even faster," Tom Gottlieb, CTO, Fifth Third, said in the release.
