Fifth Third Bank named as best adoption-friendly workplace

The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption listed Fifth Third Bank on its list of the 100 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces. It earned this reward in part for its adoption reimbursement plan of up $15,000 per child to support employees looking to adopt, according to a press release.
The bank offers virtual, in-person and maternity concierge service, parental bonding leave, infertility coverage and subsidized back-up care for children and the elderly.
"Growing a family looks different to different people," Nancy Pinckney, chief human resources officer at Fifth Third, said in the release. "We're pleased to offer our employees a comprehensive, competitive benefits package that supports their families and their overall well-being."
