March 28, 2002

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Fibervision, Inc. has opened a new technical support call center in Portland, Ore., staffed with a team of ATM technical experts. The Portland operation handles incoming calls dealing with first and second line ATM issues for site locations in the United States and Canada.

According to a news release, the company's call center team has more than 50 years of combined experience in the ATM industry.

The call center team uses management and monitoring software to monitor ATM error codes, address them immediately and direct to a service technician if needed, according to the release. The Portland facility also coordinates all aspects of new installations, working with clients and manufacturers to offer an efficient deployment.

Eric Muller, Fibervision's vice president of business development, said the company employs quantitative methods for quality control and adheres to strict performance standards.  "Whether the technicians are troubleshooting by phone, or installing in the field, we want to be sure expectations are surpassed," he said in the release.

In addition to call center technical support, 24-hour remote monitoring, real time distribution of software and on-site field service, Fibervision offers ATM overhaul, refurbishment and redeployment for companies in North America.

Headquartered in Port Charlotte, Florida, the company operates a full service ATM depot in Madison, Ala., in addition to the dispatch center in Oregon.
