FI, design firm break ground on groundbreaking branch concept

July 22, 2016

NewGround, a St. Louis-based design-build firm, and Field & Main Bank, a Henderson, Kentucky-based FI, recently broke ground on a new branch in Cynthiana, Kentucky, to be defined by next-generation technology and customer experience, according to a press release.

Field & Main was formed in January 2015 through the merger of Ohio Valley Financial Group and BankTrust Financial. The Cynthiana market is the second location for the brand's reinvented banking center, which emphasizes personalized customer interactions and mobile and electronic services.

The new, 4,300-square-foot branch will feature modern free-standing teller pods, eliminating the traditional teller line, and will offer person-to-person service from relationship bankers.

"Field & Main Bank's brand is built on the idea of providing a modern craft banking experience for their customers," said NewGround President and CEO Kevin Blair. "We're honored to have the opportunity to help them bring this brand to life through this new innovative banking center in Cynthiana."

According to the release, NewGround projects that the project will be complete late this year.
