The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas has presented a $63,000 grant to five organizations from the Las Cruces, New Mexico-El Paso, Texas area as part of its Partnership Grant Program. The grant will help improve quality of life for residents of that area, according to a press release.
The organizations include Habitat for Humanity El Paso, Improving Quality of Life, Pioneers 21, Tech Frontier dba Fab Lab El Paso and United Way of Southwest New Mexico.
The bank worked with WestStar Bank to deliver the grants.
"The PGP is designed to multiply the impact of our members' support, helping nonprofits achieve lasting results," Greg Hettrick, senior vice president and director of community Investment at FHLB Dallas, said in the release. "Together with our members, we're building stronger communities and deepening our commitment to local partnerships."
