FCTI named preferred vendor by Smith Drug

ATM network and service provider FCTI today announced it has been selected as the preferred ATM Service provider for Smith Drug Company.

South Carolina-based Smith Drug serves more than 1,000 independent pharmacies in 19 southern and midwestern states, Washington DC and the Virgin Islands.

According to an FCTI announcement of the deal, independent pharmacies are relatively underserved in the ATM services industry and FCTI is looking to fill the void. The company hopes to optimize ATM transaction volumes by providing a positive end user experience across Smith Drug pharmacy locations nationwide.

"The relationship with Smith Drug Company allows us to further develop our growth in the pharmacy space while providing independent pharmacies the opportunity to drive additional revenue streams," said Paul Cooley, president of FCTI.
