European security company installs anti-skimming device on 1,200 ATMs

The Netherlands - TMD Security, a developer of security solutions for the banking and ATM industries, has installed a new anti-skimming device called the Card Protection Kit on more than 1,200 ATMs for European banks like Yapi Kredi Bank, AKBANK, Türkiye Bankasi, SNS bank and HSBC.

According to a news release, no skimming attempts have been succesful at the ATMs since the device was installed.

According to the release, TMD Security is further testing the CPK with various international banks and ATM manufacturers like NCR and Wincor Nixdorf.

The company hopes to introduce the product in the United States and Asia Pacific markets.
