BUDAPEST -- Euronet Services, Inc., Europe's largest independent ATM network provider, will host a European Technology Conference at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Budapest Oct. 16-18. The event is expected to draw more than 150 attendees from 15 countries.
The conference, titled "e-Connecting to Your Customers," will feature topics related to wireless banking, credit card trends and development and EMV chip card strategies.
Michael C. Brown, Euronet's chairman and CEO, will deliver the keynote address. Other speakers include: Steve Langkamp, executive director of sales and marketing for Eurotel; Michael Short, chairman of the Wireless Data Committee for GSM; Tony Fekete, senior area manager-Eastern region for Europay; and Pekka Mattila, head of vendor relations for emerging products for Visa International.
Experts representing vendors such as NCR, Zaxus, KPMG and Carreker-Antinori will present educational sessions on such topics as the AS/400 platform, ATM technology, payment systems and POS solutions, Internet banking and the security of firewalls. Euronet staff members will deliver sessions on the latest advances in the company's Arksys software products.
