Euronet Pakistan to provide MasterCard, VISA gateway services to JS Bank

Euronet Pakistan, a subsidiary of Euronet Worldwide Inc., and JS Bank have signed a comprehensive agreement for the provision of gateway services for VISA and MasterCard products.

Project teams from JS Bank and Euronet Pakistan have already commenced work on the project in order to ensure the smooth enablement of MasterCard and VISA credit card services for JS Bank customers in the shortest possible timeframe.

"Euronet Pakistan has quickly demonstrated its capabilities as the leading gateway services provider in the country," said Kalim-ur-Rahman, president and CEOof JS Bank Pakistan. "We view our growing suite of card products as a key differential advantage for our customers."

Euronet maintains a PCI DSS 2.0-certified processing facility in Karachi, and is the only third-party processor in the country to offer gateway services for all three global card franchises — VISA, MasterCard and UnionPay.

Part of JS Group, JS Bank operates more than 185 branches across 100 cities in Pakistan. The agreement with Euronet Pakistan will empower the bank to process transactions at an accelerated pace with global standards for its growing product suite of card products.
