PORTLAND, Ore. -- E*TRADE Access Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of E*TRADE Group Inc. (NYSE: ET), has appointed Mark Holland director of advanced function ATMs.
His responsibilities will include the evaluation and adoption of new technology for the E*TRADE ATM network, general management and integration of acquired companies into current E*TRADE Access operations and overseeing cash management activities.
Doug Steck, president of E*TRADE Access, said, "(Holland) has immediately improved profitability in our cash management operations and is working with a number of industry experts on advancing the functionality of the E*TRADE ATM network."
Holland played a critical role in the selection of Postilion software by Mosaic to enhance the performance of the E*TRADE ATM network, announced in February.
Holland was most recently a consultant for BI.com, an investor group organizing an Internet-only bank. He also spent 26 years with First Interstate Bank, now Wells Fargo, including four senior vice president posts in merchant services, student loans and loan services administration; retail support services; marketing and retail banking administration.
With a network of 35 dealers and 9,600 ATMs, E*TRADE Access is the largest off-premise network in the U.S. and the third largest ATM network nationwide, based on American Bankers Association Data as of July 27, 2000. The company offers a proprietary centralized network operations center that provides remote monitoring and real time distribution of software and services.
