Elon Musk's X to launch X Money payment platform

X (formally Twitter) announced plans for a payment system on the platform called X Money. CEO Linda Yaccarino said that "X will connect you in ways never thought possible," according to a report by Fox Business.

An official account called @Xmoney was created in January. It currently has more than 144,000 followers but hasn't made any posts as of yet.

There is speculation that X Money could support cryptocurrency due to Elon Musk's past positive statements about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, according to a report by Coin Telegraph.
