Elizabethtown, Tennessee sees 6th ATM robbery

Law enforcement in Elizabethtown, Tennessee is investigating a sixth ATM robbery in the area. A group used a stolen pickup truck to steal an ATM at a Carter County Bank branch, according to a report by WJHL 11.

The other robberies have taken place in October, November and December 2023 and January 2024. In one case, three suspects stole more than $84,000 from a Mosheim ATM.

"We need help from the public with this investigation," the police department said in a release. "We kindly ask residents and business owners in the areas of the Elizabethton Highway, Milligan Highway, West Elk Avenue, Pinecrest, Central, King Springs and Milligan College communities, including the areas near and in between, to review your security cameras for suspicious activity and other vehicles from last night through early this morning."
