SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -eFunds Corp., a provider of risk management, electronic payments and global outsourcing solutions, announced in a news release its launch of a high-availability, low-cost transaction switching solution on the Linux operating system.

It also runs on IBM AIX.
eFunds is marketing the solution as being ideal for small to midsized financial institutions, and merchant acquirers and ISOs interested in reducing maintenance costs associated with proprietary systems, as well as larger institutions interested in cost-conscious solutions that can support growth.
