LONGMONT, Colo. and CARROLLTON, Texas – U.S. Wireless Data, Inc. and EFTLogixhave partnered to provide conversion for dial-up ATMs to CDPD (Cellular Digital Packet Data).
The conversion uses the U.S. Wireless Data, Inc. Synapse Adapter, and EFTLogix provides the modem certification. According to a news release issued by the two companies, the conversion process can be performed on virtually any ATM, including Cross, Triton and Diebold models.
"This new connection option increases transaction speed and is more cost- effective, which means the customer makes a larger profit," said Rick Hallowell, director of ATM products for U.S. Wireless Data, Inc.
"This is the ideal solution for any ATM owner who needs increased transaction speed, has high phone line costs or has a mobile ATM," said John Willmon, president of EFTLogix.
