HOUSTON -- Cardtronics has signed an agreement with EFMARK Service Company to provide ATM maintenance service for 5,000 ATMs in Cardtronics' portfolio.
EFMARK and its affiliate Premium Armored provide service to more than 28,000 ATMs for 1,300 customers nationwide, according to a news release.
"By teaming with EFMARK, we can assure our customers that any ATM problems
they encounter will be handled in a few hours, not days," said Mike Clinard, chief operating officer of Cardtronics, in the release. "When we analyzed service structure, it became obvious that bringing on a full service partner like EFMARK would provide tremendous benefits in terms of customer satisfaction."
Cardtronics operates one of the nation's largest independent ATM networks of more than 10,000 locations, including major retail and petroleum customers such as Amerada Hess, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, Rite Aid, SSP/Circle K, Sunoco and Winn-Dixie Stores.
It's the second deal for outsourced ATM service and maintenance that Cardtronics has made in less than two weeks. On March 3, the ISO announced that Genpass, Inc. would provide service and maintenance for 1,150 Cardtronics-owned ATMs in ExxonMobil and Winn-Dixie locations.
