September 1, 1999

CHICAGO -- EFMARK Service Company, a large ISO that provides maintenance for over 10,000 ATMs in 25 states, has formed a new company with King Computer Corp. of Norcross, Ga. to provide comprehensive services to financial institutions and retailers. Targeting the Southeast, the new EFMARK Southeast plans to provide first and second line maintenance, armored car, currency preparation, and cash replenishment and balancing for NCR, Diebold and Fujitsu ATMs. EFMARK's current president and CEO, Mark Hoppe, will be chairman and CEO of the new company. Helmutt Schultheiss, president and CEO of King Computer, will serve as president of EFMARK Southeast, which will be based in Norcross. "With the significant growth we are experiencing in the rapidly expanding ATM servicing business, this alliance with King Computer will permit a significantly accelerated expansion in to the important southeastern ATM market without sacrificing service quality," Hoppe said. EFMARK also sells a complete line of new ATMs as a master distributor and business partner for NCR and a value added reseller for Fujitsu. EFMARK is affiliated with Premium Armored Services, which specializes in providing "ATM Only" armored car services. King Computer, which has an ATM deployment division, sells banking equipment and computers.
