EECU, a credit union based in Texas, has surpassed 300,000 members. The membership figure represents its overall growth strategy in North Texas, according to a press release.
The credit union has $4.5 billion in assets and 22 financial centers, with its most recent one open in Stephenville, Texas. EECU also raised more than $1.7 million for Cook Children's health Care System and almost 24,000 learning hours for school, college and adult learning programs.
"EECU was founded on the principle of people helping people, and that belief continues to guide everything we do," Lonnie Nicholson, president and CEO of EECU, said in the release. "Reaching 300,000 Members reflects the trust we've earned and our continued focus on serving our communities."
